Divisions

Fall Coed Rookies / Quickball (Age 5)

Our 5-year olds continue a second year of the USA Quickball curriculum.  Players will continue to build on baseball fundamentals - base-running, hitting, throwing, and catching in a fast-paced, safe, and fun environment.

Teams are formed by late August, have 6-8 players, and will practice + play once per week on SUNDAYS at the Quickball or Quickball Training field.  The season will run from early-September to late-October.

The League provides parent volunteers as coaches.  Players will not need to purchase gloves and bats.  Players will need to purchase baseball pants, socks, and cleats (rubber).  The League provides all players and 3 coaches with a team hat and shirt.  Players will also receive a Quickball bat and ball.

Buddy requests are accepted and encouraged at this age level.

Fall A (Ages 6-7)

Our 6-7 year olds will quickly transition from USA Quickball to Coach pitch.  Players will continue to develop individual base-running, hitting, throwing and catching mechanics in a safe and fun environement.  In addition, they'll start to learn more rules of the game.  Games are generally 3 innings in length (or 1.5 hours) and every player bats each inning.

Teams are formed by late-August, have 8-10 players, and will typically play once per week on SUNDAYS at Deep Run (A field), Lenape Valley, North Penn, or Plumstead Little Leagues and practice one weeknight at the "A" Field.  The season will run from early-September to late-October.

The League provides parent volunteers as coaches.  Players will need to purchase a glove, bat, helmet, baseball pants, socks, cleats (rubber), and a protective cup (boys).  The League provides all players and 3 coaches with a team hat and shirt.

Buddy requests are still accepted at this age level.

Fall AA (Ages 8-9)

Our 8-9 year olds take a big step from Coach pitch to Kid Pitch on a larger (46/60) field.  Players will continue developing individual skills and learn more rules of the game as it takes on a more "real" baseball feel.  Outs and runs are recorded.  Pitchers will need to pass a test to earn their "Pitching Pin" to ensure quality and safe pitching.

Talent is spread evenly across teams which are formed by late-August, have 10-12 players, and will typically play once per week on SUNDAYS at Deep Run (AA Field) and practice one weeknight at the "AA" Field.  The season will run from early-September to late-October.

The League provides parent volunteers as coaches.  Players will need to purchase a glove, "USA Baseball" approved bat, helmet, baseball pants, socks, cleats (rubber), and a protective cup (boys).  The League provides all players and 3 coaches with a team hat and shirt.

Fall AAA (Ages 10-11)

Our 10-11 year-olds play more competitive baseball on the AAA field (46/60).  Winter Training and a Pitching Clinic are typically available before the season starts to help players prepare for the Spring season.  Players continue building their individual skills, learn more about the game-time situations, and are introduced to steals for the first time.  Coaches will pitch after ball 4 in the first 3 games.

Talent is spread evenly across teams which are formed by late-August, have 10-12 players, and will typically play once per week on SUNDAYS at Deep Run (AAA Field), Lenape Valley, North Penn, Plumstead, or other nearby Little Leagues and practice one weeknight at the "AAA" field.

Fall Majors (Ages 11-12)

Our 11-12 year olds are our most competitive Little League Division played on the larger (50/70) field.  Players now may take open-leads and steal on a dropped third strike.  The larger field and new rules prepare players for the next big step to Connie Mack.

All 12-year olds are guaranteed to play in Majors unless they are a first-year player.  11-year olds will be placed in Majors or AAA Divisions.

Talent is spread evenly across teams which are formed by late-August, have 10-12 players, and will typically play once per week on SUNDAYS at Deep Run (Majors Field), Lenape Valley, North Penn, Plumstead, or other nearby Little Leagues and practice one weeknight at the "Majors" field.  The season will run from early-September to late-October.
