Welcome to Deep Run Little League: Deep Run Little League provides an exceptional youth baseball experience for a wide range of ages (3-12) and skill levels. The league is run solely by volunteers and our volunteers are vital to ensure that the league is the best it can be.
Get Involved: The success of Deep Run Baseball is dependent on you! We encourage you to help out when and where you can. If you have a special skill that will help out the league please let us know. We will gladly put your skills to use. We are not just looking for coaching volunteers although we are always short there too but if you are handy or a skilled tradesman and could offer assistance with building/shed maintenance, field maintenance, landscaping, or any other various special projects we could use your help. Please contact the Deep Run Baseball Board at baseball@drvsa.org
Majors Tryouts, AAA / AA Division Player Evaluations: All players registering for our Majors, AAA, and AA divisions will need to attend one of the scheduled player evaluation sessions. The player evaluations are used to create parity when drafting the teams in all divisions. All 12 year olds are guaranteed to play Majors unless they are new to baseball.

Q: How are the kids broken down by age group for in-house baseball?
As a Little League organization, Deep Run roughly follows those guidelines.
Q: Can a player "play-up" a Division?
Yes, after registering, you can contact our Player Agent, Chuck Roller - chuckroller44@gmail.com. Our player agent and Division Directors will determine whether a player is ready to play-up.
Q: How much does Deep Run charge for baseball?
Deep Run charges an annual club membership fee of $100.00 per family. The membership fee allows a family to register their child(ren) into any sport(s) at Deep Run, including baseball.
In addition to the club membership fee for each family, each sport charges a fee that covers expenses for that particular sport. Baseball scales it's fees as the costs differ slightly for each age group.
Little League Registration Fees (closes Feb 29 unless otherwise noted).
A $40 Late fee is applied after Feb 12 (Quickball, A, Connie Mack), Jan 31 (AA, AAA, Majors).
Q: Can my child play-with a specific player(s) on their team?
Q: I signed my child up, when will I know what team they are on?
It ultimately depends on the number of children that have signed up in a given year. Typically there are 350-450 players signed up which takes some time to work through all the Divisions. Deep Run tries to set rosters of 7 players (Rookies) - 12 players (Majors) on each team. We try to have all rosters finalized and sent to Division Directors by mid-March. There will be instances where due to lack of coaching volunteers or a rush of late registrations that will delay roster communications for certain divisions. Our end goal is that all players have been communicated to by March 15. Communication of roster assignments will come via email from your assigned team manager/coach.
Q: When and where are practices and when will they start?
Both practice dates, times and locations are determined by each individual coach. Practice locations will be the fields at Deep Run and will include school fields and parks within the local area (Hilltown, Dublin, Bedminster, Silverdale). Generally, practices start in late March or early April, depending on weather and field conditions. The scheduling and frequency of practice is wholly dependent on the availability of an individual coach. It would be fair to assume a practice schedule of 1 or 2 practices per week in the beginning of the season. Each practice normally would last from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the age group.
Backyard Ball and Little Sluggers (Ages 3, 4) meet once per week for a combined Quickball practice and game.
Q: When do games start/end?
Q: When and where are games played?
Generally, a team has one game during the week and one game on Saturdays. Weeknight games start at 5:30pm early in the season when sunset is earlier and 6 pm later in the season as the sun sets later. Saturday games are played as early as 830AM to as late as 6PM. All games are played at the Deep Run complex - 953 Callowhill Road, Hilltown, PA. On occasion, due to reschedules or high enrollment, a game may be played at Blooming Glen Park (Hilltown, PA), Supplee Park (Dublin, PA), Sacred Heart Church (Hilltown, PA), or Hilltown Township Civic Park (Hilltown, PA).
Q: What if a game is rained out? How will I know?
Announcements will be made up to an hour prior to the first game time of that day. Deep Run Baseball’s website (https://www.teamsideline.com/sites/drvsa/home) and DRVSA website (www.drvsa.org) will be updated immediately once the decision has been made. Social media will also be updated. (Twitter/Facebook) You can sign up to receive text alerts for these types of announcements on the Deep Run Baseball website (https://www.teamsideline.com/sites/drvsa/home). You should also get email notification from your coach as well. There are instances when a game cannot be made up. Considering that score is not kept in many of our divisions and that there are no standings, this generally isn’t an issue. We do our best to complete the 10-12 games scheduled for each Division.
Q: What equipment/uniform items are provided by Deep Run?
Deep Run Baseball will provide each team a baseball bat, balls, batting helmets, and catcher’s equipment. Your son will also receive a uniform shirt and baseball hat. Socks, Belts and Baseball pants are not provided. Your respective coaches will make a decision based on uniform color and instruct you what color baseball pants to purchase. (white, gray, or black).
