The Little League Challenger Division is Little League's adaptive coed baseball program for individuals with physical and/or intellectual challenges.
Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they should do so. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4 to 18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school.
Teams are formed by mid-March and will practice / play once per week on Saturday mornings at the "Majors" field. The season will run from early April to mid-June. Weather permitting, practices may begin in March. Some games may be played against nearby Challenger teams such as North Penn Little League's Challenger team.
The League provides parent volunteers as coaches. Players will not need to purchase gloves and bats. Players will need to purchase baseball pants, socks, and cleats (rubber). The League provides all players and 3 coaches with a team hat and shirt. Players will also receive a Quickball bat and ball.
