deep run thunder lacrosse

Deep Run Boys Thunder Lacrosse is our Community’s Local Lacrosse program. Pennridge and Quakertown School District residents can participate in this Youth Program. Programs are offered from K-8th grade. Our mission for Deep Run Lacrosse is to provide young boys the opportunity to learn the sport of lacrosse in a Positive Coaching Alliance environment and prepare them for success at the high school level and beyond.

Registration for the Spring Season occurs in December. Teams will be set in February, and practices can begin as early as the middle of February (weather and field conditions pending).

Fall and Summer Skills Clinics are offered per availability.

our programs

Our program is broken down first by grade level, then by skill level. We are part of the South Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association (SEPYLA) and compete in league games in grades 3-4 (C level), 5/6 (B level), and 7/8 (A level). Each level has subdivisions based on skill level to ensure that the boys are playing against similar competition. Our K-2 is not a part of SEPYLA but plays games against other SEPYLA Organizations. Additional information about SEPYLA can be found at https://sepyla.com/ . Our proud partnership with the Pennridge HS Mens Lacrosse team helps our young athletes' passion for the game grow.

K-2

Boys will practice 1-2 days a week learning a foundation of skills and game settings. Games will be scheduled with other participating SEPYLA organizations, later in the season if teams are available. Games are played on a modified field, using 4v4 goals, and 6v6 players with no goalie or 7v7 with a goalie.

3rd-4th (C Level)

Boys will practice 2-3 days a week increasing their knowledge of the game and continuing to build on their skills. Games are held Saturday mornings April -June.

5th-6th (B Level)

Boys will practice 2-3 days a week increasing their knowledge of the game and continuing to build on their skills. Games can be held Saturday, Sunday, and occasionally a weeknight from April-June.

7th-8th (A Level)
