Welcome to Deep Run Baseball

Since 1962, Deep Run Valley Sports Association has been a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization constituted to firmly instill in children of our local community the values of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority so that they may be well-adjusted, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.  

Deep Run Baseball is a chartered Local League of Little League International, the world's largest organized youth sports organization.  Deep Run Baseball & Softball offers recreational, travel, and district baseball and softball to children ages 3 through 21 in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons.

Baseball Programs

Little League

In the spring, our Little League Baseball® program includes divisions for all children, ages 4–12. In addition to practicing on-field fundamentals and the excitement of playing games in a competitive environment, Little League Baseball pridefully enlists the sport to strengthen its participants’ self-esteem and confidence.

Travel

Our 8U - 12U travel teams are typically comprised of two teams per age group (blue and white).  New teams are formed each Fall with tryouts.  An additional tryout may also occur in the Spring.  No players are guaranteed a spot on a travel team. 

Summer Sandlot

During July and August, players of all ages head over to Deep Run for a FUN pick-up game of baseball, quickball, stickball, or halfball.  Younger ages (4-7) meet on Tuesday evenings for a parent-led game, and older ages (8-12+) meet on Mondays for a game format of their choice.

Fall Baseball

The Fall sports season extends from late August through late October. Ages are based on where they will play in the following Spring.  Games are on Sundays (ages 12 and under) and Saturdays & Sundays (ages 13+).  One practice per week while there is daylight ages 6+.

13-14U Travel

Every Spring, Deep Run forms 13U-14U Spring Travel Tournament Teams.  Tryouts for this team will be in the prior Fall.  The team will compete in either the Suburban League or Spring tournaments.  In the Summer, the team stays together as Deep Run's 13U Connie Mack team.

USA Quickball

Quickball is a high-speed, low-pressure baseball training sport — a hybrid program for all ages that teaches but doesn’t dictate. Mixing physically-active game play with individual accomplishment and style, Quickball is revolutionizing the introduction to baseball and softball for young players, and enhancing players' skills at all levels.

Challenger

The Little League Challenger Division is Little League's adaptive coed baseball program for individuals with physical and/or intellectual challenges.   Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they should do so. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4 to 18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school.

Connie Mack

Deep Run Connie Mack offers Spring, Summer, and Fall baseball for ages 13-21.
