We encourage all of you to come early and stay late at the fields - the 10 minutes before and after a practice or game can be a ton of fun for your whole family. Kids love having picnics or sharing a pizza while watching another game going on at the complex. Please also be a role model, our kids are watching you as well. Cheer for great plays and great effort, REGARDLESS of team. Accept bad calls by the umpires (especially our JR. umpires) as they will happen, they are also learning. They don’t have the luxury of slo-mo replay and assistance from a team back in the studio in New York.
Let’s have a great season of playing Deep Run Baseball together! We look forward to seeing all of you out on the fields in a few weeks! If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s coach first, otherwise you can email baseball@drvsa.org
